Dr. Martinez is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the Harris County VMA and he is also a member of the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, as well as, the American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. Martinez’s special interest is Small Animal Internal Medicine, surgery and dermatology.
Dr. Martinez and his wife Caroline have 3 children and a Schnauzer named ‘Lol’. He also enjoys traveling, exercising and cooking with his family.

In her spare time, Dr. Wen enjoys reading, hot yoga, game nights, and trying new restaurants with her husband. Together they are owned by two cats and two dogs, a “foster fail” mutt and a parti schnauzer who star in their own Instagram account. Dr. Wen has fostered for several rescue groups and continues to volunteer at non-profit spay/neuter events.

With more than 10 years of experience in the inner loop area of Houston, Dr. Riley is excited to work with the team at Heights Hospital for Animals as a resource to help you help your pet live their best life. Whether you just adopted your very first pet, you’re a dog person living with a cat for the first time, or you have so many animals you could practically run a petting zoo, Dr. Riley is looking forward to meeting you and hearing your stories. Dr. Riley’s professional interests are broad and easiest to describe as “comprehensive care” – everything from preventive care to pet hospice, and all the ups and downs in between – she will partner with you to make the plan that works best for you and your pet.
