Veterinarian
Dr. Martinez has been a part of Heights Hospital for Animals since June 2014. After graduating from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993, Dr. Martinez received the American Animal Hospital Association Award for Clinic Proficiency in Medicine and Surgery. He practiced for 17 years in a small animal practice before joining the Heights Hospital.Dr. Martinez is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the Harris County VMA and he is also a member of the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, as well as, the American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. Martinez’s special interest is Small Animal Internal Medicine, surgery and dermatology.
Dr. Martinez and his wife Caroline have 3 children and a Schnauzer named ‘Lol’. He also enjoys traveling, exercising and cooking with his family.

Veterinarian
Dr. Turner graduated from Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Prior to veterinary school, she attended Iowa State University, where she was an NCAA softball player, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in Biology. Her professional interests include cardiology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine. She is also RECOVER and Fear Free certified. When she is not at the office, she enjoys dancing, running, and baking. She has two pets at home—Hex, an eyeless black cat, and a tarantula named Peter Parker.We are extremely proud of our dedicated team. We hire only the best and most experienced employees to become a part of our team here at Heights Hospital for Animals. Our team is filled with highly dedicated animal lovers who are well trained at their jobs. They will do anything possible for their patients and the owners who love them.
Learning and education are very important here at Heights Hospital for Animals. We strive to have a state-of-the-art hospital with a staff trained in the latest medical advances. Our patients deserve the very best veterinary care.
Basically, our team is full of animal lovers. They make it a goal to treat each patient like their own. They give each patient plenty of love and attention. They are prepared to discuss preventative medicine so that every pet can stay as healthy as possible. They will also do everything they can to make a sick pet feel better as soon as possible.
